You miss the point.
I'm not talking about rogue operators. I'm talking about a potential fund provider negotiating the price for his shares.
GDN says "I want to raise $1million at 15 cents per share" and the provider says "no I'll give you $1 million at 11 cents per share." GDN says "no" and the fund provider says "I'll cap your shareprice until I get them at 11 cents per share."
It's called negotiating.
I STRESS this is hypothetical only. GDN may not be looking for funds.
Remember these fund providers have huge volumes at 4 - 6 and 11 cents per share so any sale will be a profit anyway.
GDN says "go jump I'll get money from somewhare else." Fund providers say "well we will sell at 14 cents forever so expect 11 cents or less from any other fund source."
If GDN are looking for funds let me be the fund provider because I can just squeeze harder each time we meet to "negotiate".
