You raised a good point with cashed up senior spending on expensive boutique tour packages.
i think this can only happen once seniors have their vaccine and agreed travel bubble in place i.e. NZ and Oz (currently in place again). This can be further extended to other safe countries like Japan, Singapore, Thailand n Vietnam.
Not sure when the vaccine will be completed i.e. maybe in 6 months. With vaccine...people have 1 in 10,000 of getting severe infection. ( was on international news)

Negative:
Can the govt get anything right. Can they rollout the vaccine without any problems/delay.
Will govt put border restriction up everytime there is 1 case. Better to manage the case and allow business to continue. Currently , govt is destorying businesses and confidence with border restriction.
Will govt require public to quarantine for 14 days after holiday.
Assuming the above concerns are addressed, FLT should benefit.
People say the market is forward looking (1 to 2 yrs ahead) but right now it can only see restrictions. I believe the market needs to see travel between Oz and NZ occurring without incidences before sentiments change.
I know the NZ pm is keen to increase international travel with Oz, as she understand her economy n businesses cannot live off govt hand out. But Oz govt has not shown the same enthusiasm.
The quicker oz govt encourage international trave bubble and the more ozies book holiday packages, the quicker FLT will recover
