Calling stimulus spent on pokies, booze, drugs, gee gees etc as a failure and wastage to future taxpayers is a completely different beast and problem to the money that was saved .... savings Kevin Rudd did not want to happen or predicted would happen. Both failures are worthy of being pointed out to those who can't see the trees for the forest.
Both were the unintended result of a policy ill thought out and are not some silly flip flop on behalf of the lib camp.
