NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures fell for a second session Tuesday, down more than 2% as traders sold the metal and other commodities to raise cash amid growing concerns over the health of major U.S. banks and the outbreak of swine flu.
Can someone please explain how and why, if traders were selling the metal to raise cash, they managed to collude to all sell it at the same two moments today?
And in reply to one of the above questions, no I don't believe it can occur indefinately. The laws of economics would have to be overturned to alter a primary trend indefinately.
