Would it be better to abort it rather than adopt it out? Hmmm. Personally adoption is the lesser of two evils.
Note that the question is not the morality of it all. What we are discussing is whether family is off limits or whether it is not. Latham was pleading for his family to be left aside. Rules of engagement need to be consistent for all parties involved.
