I usually address the topic. mate I don't personally
attack the poster ; just comment on their expressed
opinions/ideas.

It seems that many posters on these threads have difficulty
in differentiating between the two.

and regarding free speech: I believe in free speech so long as it does
not damage others including Aus.

Of course we have well established laws which limit free speech
such as defamation incitement to break the law etc.
