Not that I like to be the bringer of ill news but good to know whats going on.
If you haven't heard some idiot has started a great big fire in the Perth hills in a heat wave and this has been going a couple of days.
It was tracking East on prevailing winds which have now turned strong southerly as is usual in summer here.
Over 70 houses have been lost, luckily no lives (yet) but the significance for Chalice is the fire is now blowing in the direction of Julimar which has now been put on the lowest level of alert.
It may not get as far as Julimar, it depends a lot on what happens overnight with fairly strong Southerly for a period winds forecast.
You have to remember regarding Chalice all they will do (if they need to) is pack the rigs up and drive them away if there is any risk so they won't be risk to plant or person .
But it may cause delays more so if it gets into that forrest..... not good.
The good news (potentially is rain is forecast for the weekend).
Ok thats it for me on that, just a heads up and spare a thought for the poor farmers and home owners who might or have lost their homes and sheds, machinery, livestock, fences etc.
Im not a holder but have other Goyder stocks, Im sure WA Chalice holders can report any happenings for the better or worse regarding Julimar fire risk
