Thanks Burnett. I mentioned about Daryl's column before in a previous MAE thread today. He uses various techniques such as 6 and 12 months highs and all time highs as entry points. As well as falling volume and falling volatility as the price reaches resistance points. As I said on the other thread - I bought MAE today and then afterwards I read Daryl's column when the paper was available at work. In a way I was disappointed that he mentioned it as he could be the reason why the price pushed past its critical point.
Today is the first time MAE was able to close above 50 since October. Also today's volume is well up on its average. The basic rule applies here - higher high and a higher low. However, we would could see some pull back action on Friday judging by past breakouts.
