It's just speculation as he resigned from leading another company TMR recently.
Wouldn't be opposed to BB leading a lithium division in-house for now. But splitting it off this year would be disastrous IMHO.
It would need multiple cap raises just to keep the lights on, and development would take place with us having a begging bowl in hand. Truly shocking strategy if that is chosen IMHO. Talk of it not being valued correctly may be true, but it wasn't valued well prior to the gold deal either, so splitting it now won't do jack for that either IMHO.
Keep in in-house for now. Get a lithium manager in on lowish money with good success for development bonuses built in. Take any load off the Doctor as far as lithium goes, and let him and others get on with the gold.
Split the company off after negotiating a development deal if management are determined to go that route. Though why you'd not just keep it in-house and do the finance etc at project level I do not know.
