1. Saying something twice doesn't make it magically true, nor add to one's reputed wisdom.
2. I don't know how many multi-million dollar deals you've been involved in, but I've seen hope and excitement disappear at the "imminent" dotted line more than once when either party hangs one too many ornaments on the tree, is greedy, just plain stupid, mendacious, subject to force majeure, lawyer rich, lawyer poor, etc., etc.
Then again, maybe you do know what they had for breakfast when they woke up this morning...
