Those mistaking confidence of a near-term outcome as somehow equating to a done-deal need a reality check, particularly in the cutthroat and risk-averse world of resource project funding.
Anyone who thinks the best-laid plans don’t often change last-minute simply don’t have the experience to know better.
Anyone who thinks that a deal cannot easily fall through or not come to fruition despite one party having great confidence that it will succeed, hasn’t done enough deals themselves.
Some people need to reassess their risk management if they take ANY expectations of ANY company management as gospel.
Sometimes the “plan” does NOT unfold as we expect. We aren’t Robinson Crusoe there.
However, this does not automatically mean, as some here like to claim, that management are somehow inept or liars or schemers or similar.
If you invested or traded here by treating an expected funding outcome as a “done deal” then you have no-one to blame but yourself.
