The idea of your SA Tesla renewable energy capture sounds very convincing but there are the politics involved and with this comes job creation or replacement. You only have to look at QLD Adani coal mine to sample the dilemmas in the decision making between dirty coal and renewables.

I was once in the early days a U bull but Fukushima has taught me to never be that confident making LT predictions. The previous Lithium bulls not so long ago were also given a lesson with a second chance.

I recall thorium was still more a Lab experiment and theory. As a precursor or what to expect, global politics are fast derailing the development a decade later. I don't see many commercial entities able to fund a N power plant and in 2006/7 as I salivated while reading consistent reports detailing the number of N plants in the planning or development phase but to date, not even one has been commissioned yet. Forget about utilising Chinese money, a political hot potato, and by next Winter will be the real bun fight over the Olympics hosted in China if Covid investigations don't cause a precedent in world politics.

Is U another ST bubble or longer-term sustainable energy source? What is your opinion?
