Yeah,I too was disappointed with the small cohort, but I can understand the complexities of recruiting suitable candidates for trialing a novel drug. The main thing is that they were able to extract meaningful data and demonstrate a mechanism of action.

I think recruiting issues have been addressed for Phase 2b. The 8 - 10 dogs should come through much quicker than before. With the refined dosage regime I would expect 100% progression free survival and perhaps even notable reductions in tumor burdens.

If we attain these sort of results, it will be enough evidence to advance to a large scale Phase 3 with perhaps hundreds of dogs. But we won't have to do it on our own. I reckon the current trial will be closely monitored by a number of interested parties that may or may not include "Vet Major".
