I appreciate all the work you did Gannp , since i lost my $80,000 from my super account i suffered greatly , it affected my work and i became very unwell. i did all that i could , i wrote and spoke to asic many times.
i had begun a legal battle with PDY in a class action law suit through 2014,2015,2016 and i had to work and try and live my life, it made me so distort thinking about the NWT matter .
I know you lost alot of money , i am aware of this . i am always very sorry to hear that
my superannuation has never recovered since the loss. currently i have only $3000 left in my super as ive had to use some money in my life , so ive taken some out. i have left my long time job after 12 years back in 2018 and ive had my fair share of issues since. dont be fooled thinking that young ones can afford a loss, no one can afford a great loss. im 39 years old now and ive worked since i was 18 years old and i have 3000 left in my super, my future is on ice at the moment. i keep trying to look for that quick fix but i cant seem to get on top.
the loss of my super in NWT depressed me greatly , to the point where at times i felt like giving up completely.
no i dont count myself as lucky at all , not in the slightest
i gathered alot of information and had great knowledge on the matter of NWT, i can remember announcements NWT made and the words they used. i have alot of recorded information. i feel terrible that i was too weak to fight against the injustice shareholders were put through in NWT at that time.
I followed NWT since it was MUL a long time ago. i waited for the finance approvals to build the satellite, i waited for the money to come to NWT, i waited for the satellite to be built. i made the decision to invest when the satellite was half built , never did i image that things would go sour like they did . I consolidated my super and planned to invest into a company back in i think 2014, instead of doing diversification i put all of my money in NWT at a good price , its terrible as it was the very first time i had used my super to invest into direct security. i cant believe the huge mistake i had made.
and once the shares go in to a suspension its all over.
creditors tried to sue NWT directors , im not sure if the creditors and so forth got any money out of the director Adrian or NWT,
Asic pursed the directors due to shareholder complaints thats why , including myself , i wrote and spoke to asic on the matter on several occasions , then asic takes director to court and after some years , finds him guilty and gives him a $15,000 fine only.
i remember talking to [email protected], i gave them all my details , they replied at the start and after a few months i heard nothing , its like they just diddnt communicate anymore , it would have been nice of them to let shareholders know where things were at . i have wondered if a class action ended going through on NWT for years now . feeling like i missed my opportunity to get my money back .
