According to FAR website voting can be done on-line for the EGM. I presume the necessary material will be emailed to SHs. Baker McKenzie appointed to advise in relation to any formal T/O offer … but that should be straightforward imo … ie is it a higher return compared to selling the WI to WPL?
But as I’ve said, imo, FAR created a problem for Remus by spilling the beans on what Remus was thinking … because that gave WPL plenty of time to have a counter T/O offer already properly thought out and ready at short notice. That will be the reason, imo, if there is no formal offer from Remus. A T/O is not in managements personal interest. But having said that, I understood that Remus had been looking at two acquisitions one of which was FAR and the other is no longer available. Brent is now 59USD. A circus? More like a train wreck in slow motion imo.
