you guys seem like knowelagble traders, got a tax question that i cant seem find answers to. was wondering if can do this strategy so that i can hold onto my stocks and build my portfolio without paying tax on each sale e.gi
bought BPT share 100 @ $10 per units ($1000)it went up to 15 dollars, so it went up 1500 dollars, i decided to sell 66 units at 15 to take back my initial 1000 dollar invesment,
do i only oay tax when i sell my remaining 34 units? im a newbie and i cant seem find the answer on the ATo website
