I think this is a ploy to pressure affirm to buy zip at about $10b valuation... affirm need it to be truly global. Win win win as zip will jump on USA investment, listing, or merger activity.
meanwhile.... afterpay is about to launch in Europe mainland and Asia.... in addition to their share of happay in China... which might list by itself at some point.
No reason Aussie bnpl can't dominate the transactional and credit line bnpl markets.
PS: ADR won't do that much imo. they need more...
