Sorry, but your comments are just wishful thinking.
It takes years to develop nuclear weapons. John Gorton was going to develop a facility but lost his positin as PM. We have not started anything, and only have a minor reseach/medical fracility.
By then it will all be over red rover.
There is no reason for others to give us any nuclear weapons. We do not have real allies, but act as if we do. The US will do a deal, Australia for trillions in Chinese borrowing being wiped off. The UK is totally toothless (and burdened with lots of its own problems).
What nation would sacriface their own cities for us. It is an absurd idea to rely on others. But people do absurd things (eg GFC).
