The RC church, by refusing to give their priests permission to get married (for no sound religious reason other than saving money),must bear the major blame for its history of priests sexually abusing young boys. I considered becoming a priests many years ago, but could not consider the prospect of being a permanent virgin.
The RC church must face reality and allow its priests to get married, no matter the cost.
