The long term results of the hand outs will more than offset the short term gains.If we pull out before Christmas then we just might get away with it,if not they will serve to prolong the pain.Tax cuts and pension increases would spread it all out more evenly than handouts and would be a greater boost to small business who employs the greaterpart of the work force The broard band roll out to the nodes is a good idea but going into every home at a 10 fold increase in price is not warranted at this stage and would be better spent on shire roads that have been neglected for too long.The mobile network is also a joke once you move away a bit.We are in the Tourist capital of Queensland and have poor mobile and TV reception.It would not be too hard to improve the Hospital systems in Australia.The State Govs have let them fall to third world standards.And I am just getting started but that will do for now .IMO
