To my way of thnking having a confirmed 1p despite being lower than expected value is a big positive. The major issue with marion is not that there is no gas but whether it can be economically extracted. The confirmed 1p based on the lowest henry hub prices in years supports the viability of clear creek as producing gas field.
My concern like yours is cash flow during the sales process.
