For those who bought within the last year keep in mind tax implications of selling on Monday, i.e. full tax rate, if you bought at a sensible price.

For those who have held longer, I think if you sell and then subscribe to the offer you won't be able to claim capital loss due to last years ATO comments on "wash rule". Of course that's on a per share basis, i.e. if you sell 1000 and rebuy 800 then you could claim loss on the 200. Or you could sell and claim you had no intention of rebuying, but then due to share price you just had to. I dislike how the ATO did not give cut and dry rules like the US has.

Still retail investors are likely to be selling in droves on Monday.
