Both show similar trends, as you'd expect with such a large user base.
App rankings: I don't know how they calculate the ranking exactly, if it's based on daily total users, or new downloads, or star rating or what (though I'm confident that at least downloads or usage is an important factor, since when the Gamestop craziness happened lately, and sign-ups to brokers spiked 3x+, Selfwealth's app ranking rose a lot).
App ratings count over time can be tracked. It's not a super clear representation of the data, but you can see at what times it's above or below trend (hitting the bottom or top of that shaded band). That would mainly represent new user sign-ups, though also general growth/usage.
