I’m not sure you $10k per day for ICU is correct, but assuming you’re correct you assumptions make sense economical. But what you have forgotten is the treatment only works if given earlier, that is before you are really sick. This means you have to spend the $75k on many people who won’t get really sick and need ICU.
So, if you need to treat 100 people for each ICU patient the cost is enormous. And I would think 100 is conservative.
Compare this to really what is happening now, which is effectively repurposing existing products which are ridiculously cheep and proven and I don’t see a market. Maybe if they can identify who will get really sick there might be a market, but otherwise I think MSBs Covid treatment is a non starter.
