Sorry Practicing acc. I have been donw in Newcastel most of this last week and couod only read off the Blackberry. HArd to post on it.

I have to admit I have no real opinion re the dividend. I must admkit I am not into IPL for the dividend but to try and accumulate on dips.

I was at the ports conference in Newcastel and from coast to coast they are all talking of bumper grain harvests !!
What this means to me is that very very soon if not already many will have the cash and they will HAVE TO put something back into the soil pretty darn soon. That is my reading of the situation. Of course there will be parts on Oz that do not show this picture but generaly from WA and out via the Hunter and indeed in QLD its all thumbs up for the harvest of grain.

From a TA point of view (yes I am trying to improve on this) the trends on IPL are not as clear as they were. She is sitting at a critical level just on the 46 MAV. the 100 MAV is moving down to meet $2.40 pretty soon so at this stage perhaps she may consider curretn levels as support and go bak to $2.40 (like the last run up). There appear to be multiple lines of support running just below curretn prices. I have place my order in for more shares for tomorrow at $2.15 (who knows if I get them or not). If bny about 11 am she has not hit my ask price I think it prudetn to check what happens from 3 pm to get in (or not).

The bollingers are pretty tight. be interesting to see how the market takes the next quarterlies.

Certainly I do think $2.25 should be hit soon but then again it does depend on the Quarterly report and how the market takes it. Remeber last time IPL did give a profit downgrade warning which was one reason the price did tank.

wxyz, know what u mean. My buys signal was last Friday but could not buy as I was interstate. X fingers for me for Monday
