No-one can deny that Coffee House and Cornell are owed REAL money and IMO they should be repaid at whatever decided rate from operations / refinancing / both.

HNC's claims on the other hand are equivalent to shareholders claims of lost dividends over next 30 years haha and THAT should be challenged not only by then acting on CMR's behalf but also by Oz regulators who surely must have Qs re the way this has been induced / forced.

I keep reminding tho that biggest problem FEDs have is challenging any foreign sovereign fund cos thats like a heretic challenging the Pope if u know what I mean.

I just hope that HNC have been "misled" by them seeking a quick buck and that going down that road will be detrimental to them in the longer term and that THEY themselves realise this before too late.

If the FEDs dont step in then the FEDs themselves should be challenged on grounds of National Interests / Security.

Hopefully all will reach a face saving compromise which is palatable to ALL parties and get this show back on the road cos thats the best result for all.

Oz needs to change its ways cos it aint ready to handle the Chinese who are used to going for the throat and expect some bargaining ... not to be handed things for zilch. HNC must be laughing at our MO. If this was PRC reckon they would have called in the Red army and nattionalised it !

More importantly OZ should retain greater than 50% ownership of ALL projects otherwise we risk seeing Oz projects run at break-even here with the margin-add exported for alien sovereign benefit ... taxes etc.

Cant believe we are so "easy" with our kids' assets. Rudd IMO has an image problem with Oz citizens now.
