why do I hold.... for reasons that may be due to my personal circumstances.
Irrespective of that, and whether I consider VUL to be a good longterm prospect (which it may be), does not and should not inhibit me from calling out what I may consider greed behaviour by the board / / execs of a company.
It has happened in some other companies in which I hold shares, some of behaviour which have ‘’performed badly” for retail shareholders whilst the bod/execs still seem to determine that “they have performed” and should be remumerated accordingly.
if instead they have done a good job, ok, but it not a carte blanche for eye watering ‘bonuses’ .
shareholders deserve more than ‘crumbs that fall from their banquet’ or a few ‘slops from the trough’.

The behaviour of many operatives, across much of the corporate and financial sector could do with a raise in their standard of ethics and less in ‘self interest’.
