Graphite is sexy for the moment so stocks such as egr are having their day in the sun. I've been invested in knl/egr for about 7 years so am glad to finally see some return. It's not as simple as that tweet as there's a number of potential business units each with differing Npv values. The Kwinana plant for which theyve gone into a halt to fund today is for production of battery grade graphite (which the tweet mentions). However, they've also recently released hugely positive results for recycling graphite from old batteries and that's a second potential windfall. Lastly, there's a development ready mine in Tanzania that has been held up due to the ongoing issues with Tanzanian govt but hopefully will eventually make it to production. The mine had binding offtakes for entire production and Kwinana a non-bindint for half of its production.

I think a better comparison for QPM is E25. It's a manganese explorer and soon to be developer in WA. Low Capex, high npv and decent offtakes. Their initial developments will be for ordinary industrial grade manganese but can obviously see them pivoting to battery grade once established. They have had a great run (17c to 1.80+ for me) but are still massively undervalued compared to sexier graphite and lithium plays. This is why I've bought into QPM today because I see a lot of similarities between the two and think this is due to/will seriously rerate in time
