pickawinner... i stand corrected. 14.03 is 12 month high. I was sure it was the all time high. Re the current Rudd stimulus. i asked all 5 stores whether this was benefitting JBH. (remember JBH got huge boost from the early decemeber 2008 9Billion handout) All 5 store personell said more-or-less same thing. This stimulus has (so far) not produced the boost in sales experienced in decemeber.The decemeber handout was perfectly timed for consumers to justify buying a plasma, new computer etc for Xmas. This time the sales are travelling ok but not the spike as hoped for. But margins are electrical goods are down. Ask yrself: when this $900 handout is over will retail in Australia increase or decrease.

Re yr comparison with WOW. WOW largely sell food, alcohol and other consumerables. JBH sell computers, stereos, TV's, games, DVDs. You choose.
