I wouldn't have thought the Govts and potential bce makers, users and sellers in China, Vietnam, India and Indonesia, for example, care much about the Rudd ets lame duck model.

For all that have closely followed the Rudd model, prior to the first bill reading in the lower house, it was fair and reasonable to expect that it would become a political football with double dissolution potential (from the oppositions perspective.)
