Seriously, if great news was around the corner do you think we would be seeing the share price going backwards over the last few days. Buyers just keep disappearing by the hour. Looks like we are heading back to below 60c.

You have to be very suspicious why there hasn't been any update to the number of acceptances since last Thursday morning. Previous pattern has been to send out a new notice whenever the acceptances increased by 1% or more. So we can safely deduce from this that they are still below 47.7%. If that is the case then it is very unlikely they will get over 50.1% because those who will accept probably already have and the rest are waiting either for a better offer or just want to hold on to their shares.

I believe the spike in the share price was speculation that they would get the 50.1% and that would see a further increase in the share price because they would be getting BON for cheap. Now that is looking doubtful and the speculators/traders are cutting their losses and getting out.

If there was any other reason for the spike in the share price to 80c then it would not have come back down because nothing has changed (no bad news).
