Cerviscreen is largely a consumer product opportunity rather than a medical breakthrough.
PLT has to pull together a number of pieces of the pathology value chain to offer a consumer-friendly methodology for taking & processing samples and delivering pathology results to consumers.
Having obtained rights to the GeneSwab self sampler, the rest is a logistics / negotiation / marketing challenge rather than something that you would expect to see in a medical journal.
And as for doctor awareness in St Kilda road? The product hasn't been launched in Australia to my knowledge, so there is absolutely no reason for the doctor to know about it.
If anyone anywhere has heard of cerviscreen they would be in China. And i don't even know if the integrated product has been launched there yet? suspect not quite.
