Tad, I don't remember him going long but I doubt he got burnt. I exchanged a few emails with him and sounds like his short during the market plunge was an attempt at putting IG out of business. If memory serves he got over 1000 points with many contracts in that one trade.
He probably left us for a private getaway somewhere in the pacific.
