Overall stat for onshore drilling to commercial success was 53% in 2017 from memory (not Sacramento specific). I am not sure quoting a stat from 30 to 50 years ago will be accurate to current time. Lots of gas and lots of failures in the Sacramento basin. A few companies no longer exist that have chased the big prizes on offer. That's why this Resource report is much anticipated.
