I don't see how citing an article in a printed newspaper is advertising the newspaper anymore than providing a link to online news/information is advertising that service.
The "put up or shut up" in the subject of the Monday post was not inflammatory ... it was simply a notable quote from the opening sentence of the AFR article.
You say the post didn't provide fodder for discussion. Gosh, the article spoke for itself and would have kicked off discussion of where Rio is going with its interest in EXT.
I have to agree with the others here who say this matter needs clarification.
