On p11 of the "shareholder’s letter on MET tests" you mention, it includes a reference to an Albemarle website to compare their target grind sizes to.
https://www.albemarle.com/businesses/lithium/products/product-finder?pinfo=Spodumene
This web page lists specifications for 6 SC products Albemarle, that as a manufacturer of lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide deals with. The Grain sizes in µm and percent Guaranteed are as follows
SC7.2 standard
< 500 µm 100 %
> 212 µm max. 18 %
> 75 µm min. 60 %
SC 5.0
< 850 µm 100 %
> 106 µm min. 95 %
SC 6.5
< 1000 µm min. 98 %
SC 6.8
> 125 µm max. 3.0 %
< 75 µm min. 80 %
SC 7.2 premium 75µm
<75 µm min. 99 %
<63 µm min. 98 %
SC 7.2 Premium
<500 µm 100 %
>212 µm max. 18% typ 11 %
>125 µm typ 48 %
>90 µm typ 69 %
>75 µm min. 60 % typ 75 %
Comparing the FFX DFS stated grind size of P80 106-150µm, P80 is the 80% passing size which suggests 20% of the material is >150µm, a size range which all of the specs except SC 7.2 Premium (which is all smaller) include and may indicate the level of amenity of FFX's SC6 product.
