    The last time I converted oppies (UMCO) I sent the cheque express post and it took about two weeks before CHESS was updated. Meaning I could not trade the stock for 2 weeks.

    I would say that each share registry is different so I suggest you phone Computer Share on 08 93232000 and ask them how long it takes.
