That's fair enough, everyone has their own strategy.

While my university degree is in Finance, I only started in shares with $1k at mid-2019, trading around a bit but not much. Had all my $$$ in oil when COVID hit! My portfolio was down about 90% to $200 value. Slowly kept plugging away and putting in any spare capital to buy in. Less than 2 years later sitting on a portfolio of Circa 70k (which is significantly over 100% ROI and IOU is now my second largest holding). My portfolio is not as big as some on here, but I couldn't have built from where I've started without taking some profits along the way. Have sold off at times to put in other trades. In fact my IOU purchase was actually on the back of a significant 20% loss on another. Sold out of that and put everything I sold into IOU. The other share price has not moved, and this has obviously gone bonkers.

Compound interest is massive in this game and you need to make some tough calls to make that happen. Sometimes its buy, hold or sell. For me IOU is a hold because the compound potential is life changing.
