Agree with your outside of casing, but I therefore think it implications are less serious. IF it is a metallurgical failure in the upper casing (emphasise the IF)then rectification is problematic (trying to get the steam to stop) but tactical not strategic. Simple to rectify - bigger bit of steel/sleaving etc.
I was more than a little concerned at the speed of the demob in the first announcement.
I have no knowledge/insight on the use/impact/implication of tracer materials detected or not detected (is the detection equipment still working or being based in the cellar it has turned a bright red lobster color?)
Not good news.
As they say, manaagement looks after the bad news, the good news manages itself.
Let's see how they go.
If they can fix this, maybe a 1350km transmission line will seem to be like be a piece of cake.
