Just to clarify the Aconex buyout was reported by the AFR and SMH as $1.6bn at $7.80 per share which was a 47% premium to the share price $5.29. The only reason I mention this is that the euphoria will go through the roof here if people think the offer was at a premium of 358%. My own view is that 3DP is likely to be a takeover opportunity for big tech companies that are cloud, application solution, and data focused. These would include Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, and I think they would make a mess of it. I do think 3DP have the capability to run on their own merits and ability and I would certainly prefer that outcome.
