You wouldn't ordinarily have to. They expire Dec 31 2022, with a strike price of 1.2c.
Plenty of time to sell them again if they ever trade at par or at a premium. Ordinarily options should trade at a premium, as they provide leverage, but these are far in the money, so the premium should be small. It should not be negative! I also have never seen negative premium on an option. LRS closed at 7.9c, so LRSOC should have closed close to 7.9c-1.2c = 6.7c. Instead it closed at 6.1c i.e. at 9% discount. If you're bullish it makes no sense to buy the shares instead of the options when you can get a 9% discount. Makes me think Aussies don't understand options. Maybe they think a 9% penalty is ok to avoid the hassle of exercising! But I guess someone will arbitrage that eventually by buying all the discounted options in one hit and exercising them, so maybe others won't have the hassle of exercising them to capture the difference. Regardless, if you buy them, you'll get an exercise form sent to your CHESS registered address.
