I get sent 6 of those trading central tips each day as part of my HSBC trading account. I have followed some of them out of interest to see if they have proven correct, and they generally are not. I would say the pedictions perform about as well as random chance performs.
I think of them like reading your horoscope every day, they are oddly interesting, but I wouldn't base a strategy around them.
