It looks to me like big money is purposely creating intraday volatility in order to shake shares loose from retail holders. Big money has also been aggressively short selling into the bid to push the sp down, especially when positive news is released (the most recent example being the magnet announcement). This is likely being done in order to create confusion amongst retail investors regarding the significance of the developments.
