Why Zip should be priced at $26 per share
As of today Tuesday 16th Feb 2021:
Sezzle has 196m Shares Outstanding
Zip has 552m Shares Outstanding
Afterpay has 286m Shares Outstanding
Sezzle has a Market Cap of $1B
Zip has a Market Cap of $8B
Afterpay has a Market Cap of $44B
Sezzle Share Price $1B / 196m = $11.50
Zip Share Price $8B / 552m = $13.92
Afterpay Share Price $44B / 286m = $153.46
If Zip and Sezzle had Afterpays Market Cap
Zip $44B / 552m = $80 share price
Sezzle $44B / 196m = $225 share price
Not each company is the same. For example Zip recorded 2/3 less TTV than Afterpay.
If we assume Afterpay is correctly valued based off TTV and Zip is still 5.5 times smaller in Market cap then we can adjust that 5.5 by taking away two thirds and determine Zip is still as of today 1.85 times more undervalued compared to Afterpay.
Zip x 1.85 = Market Cap of $14.8B and Share Price of $26 should be a fair valuation for Zip...But there are so many other factors...
