    Thanks for the link.
Very interesting that they are looking into Tumeric in terms of OA.

I initially was genuinely quite intrigued as we know Turmeric is a natural spice. Mate, I use it here and there for sure in the odd dish.
I immediately saw a pic of Turmeric next to a European Beach tree but that's just me...too much research into all things PAR and iPPS can have this effect - be warned. eek.png

I give you ONE stat. Please do not take this the wrong way, I am really genuinely open to natural treatments, hey, ours falls under that umbrella to some extent for sure.

There are currently between 22% and 39% of ALL of India that suffer from OA. Thats from a Peer reviewed article, not an off the cuff comment from an over-enthused Mozz poster. 1

SO what's your big point Mozz....

Paradigmers...even taking the lower of the two, 22%...22% of 1.38 Billion folks is like (time to get my 12 digit super calc) 303 Million OA sufferers, mate I gotta tell you that a good few of them are going to be eating copious amounts of tumeric on a daily basis enough to have noticed for themselves at least some positive effect on their OA!

Now I'm not being flippant...I think it is a good worthwhile study...I also know that it will be in pill format so I'm aware of the lack of potential bioavailability. But let's forgive all that for the moment and say they get some efficacy out of it...I'm glad it is a natural remedy, but I personally don't think it will hold a candle to us as we have a much greater absorbency MINUS all the GI (gastroIntestinal) problems that too much tumeric can have. If all of the above still gets through, they are again, YEARS away from us by the time they finish their P3. At that stage it is my plan..and my dream that we will be well and truly front line for most of the world in terms of OA treatment?

Again, I thank you for bringing it to our attention, it is very good to know of these things and without posters like you, well I'm all the better for such info.
Remember, do not stop researching and bringing it to us...even negatives, we all need to hear about them so we can weigh them up. Again I say it is because of people like you that ask questions and post findings that we have learnt so very much about what we own...and potentially what one day we may grow into.
