SP can still move in a trading halt, a suspension wipes any bids and locks the SP into last closing position, but not when in a TH.
Any orders that are placed in TH now till the time the details of the announcement drops is just speculative and is no means a guide to the results being positive or negative.
So until the announcement drops, no one knows and the SP in a trading halt could drastically change either way once news drops.
