My point was the DMR granted us the EA last year and they could have easily just sacked it in the first place if they were corrupt and wanted a bribe or whatever; what's the point of DEFF doing it with the appeals process, since both departments work hand in hand. Agree, the covid/backlog delay issue was valid for some time, but has been overstretched now; the way I see it is just SA being slow moving and their "boost rate of granting exploration licences" just being big talk. At worst, the departments with the ability to use the excuse of covid, can take as much time as they want, avoiding what legislation says for these procedures, and they have taken advantage of that, since they really don't care.
