Yeah i went to the info evening in brisbane. HR / Sales type chicks just repeating to you the contents of their brochure... I had a look at the content of the courses, fairly soft imo. I did b.commerce (finance) / b.economics (int. trade & finance) at the university of queensland. Both undergrad degrees, at a quality institution.
I asked the sales person if i could look at their quant subject materials. Now she has assured me that it is a "step up" from undergrad, like wow, this is really going to challenge you. Pity she was dumb, because the "hard" quant kaplan subject looked easier than stats at uni. Compulsory undergrad econometrics course at UQ for econ students was leagues harder than that material.
Why pay for something, when you wont learn? Has anyone else been in this position? Anyone done the m.app fin at macquarie or at kaplan?
