This is just one of my thought bubbles.

If you announce that the file has been sent to TSMC by Socionext for production of the wafer the question becomes for production of what and how many and how much is this going to cost.

Would the ASX let BRN just announce the first and not provide the answers to these other questions given that the first begets these material market considerations.

Then you have the annual report which needs to contain projections as to future expenditure and how that will be managed as a disclosure to the auditors so that they can make an assessment of BRN's financial viability.

Again if you announce that Socionext has sent the file to TSMC for production of the wafer how does BRN avoid providing details of production of what and how many and how much to satisfy this requirement of the annual report to confirm going concern status and to provide budget predictions for the next 12 months?

The reason I thought about this is because Tech posted earlier the announcement when the first file for the shared wafer was sent to TSMC and it reminded me that all of these details were disclosed that is how much BRN was paying to Socionext and how much to TSMC for BRN's share of the wafer which at the time I did not think that much about because it was just announced but looking back it had to be because it was material market information.

So the number of wafers can be determined by how much they are paying to TSMC ie $3,000 a wafer for 28nm and from there you can extrapolate how many chips and how many orders BRN has or expects to have. The only one disclosed on this front is the AKD1000 chips necessary to meet the commitment to Socionext for the SynQuacer platform which was announced by BRN and Socionext last year.
