Thanx for the suggestions.
I do not know if the black ink cartridge is empty or not as once removed, according to the book, that cartridge should not be used again.So the answer to that ? is I know not.
I will reconfigure the printer in a minute & see what happens & when I find the Print in Color 'thing' I will test.
